Boat Support

The Kiribati Islands Expedition is soliciting boat support. The Expedition requires conducting surveys by SCUBA at four to six atolls for a minimum of one month. The most efficient and safest means of conducting this research is with the assistance of a boat that is capable of traveling to the Kiribati Islands (930 miles north of Fiji), carrying four scientists, and a compressor and SCUBA gear.

This could be an ideal opportunity for an experienced captain and crew (a couple or family) with an interest in supporting conservation science to be a part of a Scripps Institution of Oceanography expedition.
