MAS-MBC Class of 2019

CMBC is part of Scripps Institution of Oceanography and is not a curricular group. Scripps Institution of Oceanography is a department within the University of California San Diego (UCSD).  CMBC activities involve many UCSD departments and curricular groups.  Prospective students should investigate the various UCSD programs, admission requirements and other opportunities including the PIER Ph.D. Specialization and MAS-MBC program that are led by CMBC.

PIER (Program from Interdisciplinary Education and Research) is an approved specialization for Ph.D. students in any of eleven UCSD departments

PHD Career track

Master of Advanced Studies in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation (MAS-MBC) is a professional program. The program accepts a maximum of 26 student per year to keep class size small and better address students’ needs.
