Education

The future has no bounds

CMBC's education programs support and augment the core academic programs and extension courses and certificates at UC San Diego, teaching essential skills students need to protect and conserve our world.

CMBC's courses and affiliated degree programs provide both conceptual training and essential hands-on practice to develop students into “boundary-spanners” who can work amongst and across disciplines. Students are also critical members of our research community participating at all stages of our programs and initiatives.

All UC San Diego students interested in marine biodiversity and conservation are invited to join CMBC and participate in our activities and events — regardless of if you are enrolled in one of our affiliated degree programs or classes.
